Cody & Yoda

Here are some sketches and photo's of Cody & Yoda. My parents own them but when they go on vacation, we get to babysit them! They're really funny, sweet and talkative cats.

Cody is a Siamese blue point, and Yoda(yes, from star wars) is a longhair Balinese seal point.

It's known that Siameses are very talkative... Cody is exactly like that, and Yoda has its moments too.

Cody demands half of the time that you'll play with him, he knows exactly where his toys are hiddin.
Cody is half a dog, cause he brings toys to you. He also helped me find stuff I lost: Buttons, a little pencil, an eraser, an earring o and an old french fry.

Yoda is the smart cat, really! He taps me on my arm and back if he wants attention, and if that doesn't work he will open a cabinet, jump in front of you, eat plastic, knock something on purpose to the ground, or meow really hard and at last he has a kind of 'I'm gonna faint' motion he does when he's hopeless... hard to describe but very funny to see.

O my, now I sound like a crazy cat girl! ... Sorry!

Depth animation

A few assignments for TvPaint class:

One head rotating that I drew. The other head(1 frame) is from a classmate, so I had to make that one rotate too. After that you'll see a cube floating in space(loop). To make depth into 2d animation is really hard to do. So it was a good learning experience.

Make one door that opens, go through a room(s) and make it end with the door of a classmate. (so the door at the end is not mine) It's one big animation with the whole class together.

The Final Lipsync. and Sketch version

Here is the lipsync I did on paper, first with blue pencil than for the final animation I used 2 kinds of fineliner. It was a lot of work...Adjusted some frames in tvpaint. And I did Scancleaner in tvpaint, that's why the edges are sometimes a little rough.
